This is a lego-brick scenery and uses the megabytes of art assets already included in your installation of X-Plane. The runway is wide and long enough for heavy jets, so if you feel like running a cargo plane to LIBA, you can certainly do so. If you enjoy flying military aircraft, this should be your main southern Italian base. There is a single asphalt runway, 11/29 which is 2,660 meters (8,727 ft) in length. This is an interesting military airport with several structures in about 4 distinct areas, widely separated. Amendola Air Base was primarily a training base for pilots of the AMX International AMX ground attack aircraft and the main base for Italy for AMX pilots.
